Some of those findings are in a paper I presented at the Internet Research conference last year (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.academia.edu\/4888626\/More_Awesome_than_Electronic_Arts_Resistance_and_Appropriation_in_The_Sims_gaming_communities\">slides here<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/spir.aoir.org\/index.php\/spir\/article\/view\/731\">short paper here<\/a>), some aspects were mentioned in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.participations.org\/Volume%2010\/Issue%201\/14%20Bury%20et%20al%2010.1.pdf\">a paper<\/a> I co-authored in Participations journal. I have also written an article using these findings which will be published in the journal <a href=\"http:\/\/journal.transformativeworks.org\">Transformative Works and Cultures<\/a> next year and have another 2-3 articles in progress.<\/p>\n<p>Given the release of Sims 4, I wanted to use this opportunity to gather player opinions on the new game, both before and after its release, and so I&#8217;m asking anyone who is a Sims player to fill in two short(ish) anonymous surveys relating to the game.
